2017 Christmas Markets in London

Philippa Norman 11/09/17

When people think of London throughout the festive season, they often think of jam-packed tube stations, long queues and panicked shoppers. But the great thing about the capital is that there is something for everyone! Every year we are seeing the capital expand its Christmas cheer with festive markets replicating the German tradition appearing left, right and centre.

Across many of the Christmas markets in London you will find foodie treats, homemade unique gifts, Christmas entertainment and not forgetting the all important tradition of glühwein, (for us brits that's mulled wine!). So, if you’re looking to spread the festive cheer and spend quality time with family and friends why not take a visit to one of the Christmas markets in London?

Winter Wonderland

Now this market has to be an all time favourite!  Winter Wonderland located in Hyde Park has become a well-known landmark for Londoners and tourists alike. Establishing 10 years ago as an open-air Christmas market, it has since grown into London’s biggest Christmas  Market.

If you are looking to stroll around the market you can find festive foodie treats, unique handmade gifts, watch Christmas entertainment and will never be too far away from a hot mulled wine! If you are searching for some additional fun and cheer, why not get your skates on with the UK’s biggest outdoor ice rink, ride on the giant observation wheel, explore the deep sea magical ice kingdom or hire your own Bar Hutte for karaoke or “Carol-oke” and cocktails, new for 2017.
